The Local History Collection focuses on the history of Orange County California and the cities within Orange County, Southern California and to a lesser extent California as a whole. Years 1776-2012 (to date) are covered. The collection includes 3860 cataloged books and pamphlets, correspondence, ephemera, manuscripts, maps, memoribilia, papers, periodicals, posters and photographs.

This collection contains music sheets for compositions and arrangements by Don Davis, a resident of Anaheim, California and an award-winning composer. Davis has worked on film and television scores for over thirty years, and is most well-known for his work on "The Matrix" franchise. This collection includes music from his time studying at UCLA, early work on television scores, and original compositions.
