Biographical / Historical
The Fullerton Art League was a small, informal group formed in 1965 whose goal was to raise the quality of art being exhibited in the old Library (now the Fullerton Museum Center) and in other spaces of the city. Members were artists Ava Slater, Doris Taylor, Georgia Guback, and Marge Cannon, A.J. Greening, and Eve Steinberg. In 1967 the group formed an affiliation with CSU, Fullerton's Art Department and became the Art Alliance.
