California Constitutional Review Committee (CCRC)

The California Constitutional Review Committee (CCRC) records document the committee's work reviewing and proposing revisions to the California Constitution from 1966 to 1970. The collection consists of 11 boxes containing minutes, communications, miscellaneous papers, and materials organized by constitutional article numbers (Articles I, II, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII-XVI, XVI-XVIII, XX-XXIII, and XXIV-XXXIV). The records include a February 16, 1967 memorandum from Larry L. Sipes, Special Counsel, to committee members and interested parties. The collection also contains publications from 1971-1974 related to proposed revisions of the California Constitution and materials from the California Legislature Assembly Interim Committee on California Constitution Revisions.
